Officer Alexander Osborn embodies a high moral character and demonstrates exemplary performance in all areas of police work. He has strived to help the community and gives more of himself than asked, often making sacrifices to benefit the greater good.
During the past year, Officer Osborn has exceled at his duties. He is one of the most proactive and productive officers in the Patrol Division. He ranks in the upper 10 percent in categories including arrests made, reports written, traffic stops, citations and written warnings.
Officer Osborn routinely demonstrates a professional attitude and strong work ethic. He has received letters of praise from community members and departmental supervisors acknowledging his quick response, special attention to detail, patience, and understanding.
Officer Osborn is very involved with the operations of the police department. He volunteered to become a part-time marine patrol officer and completed 84 hours of hands-on training with our full-time marine officer and members of the Fish and Wildlife Commission (FWC). He also volunteered to become the department’s less lethal weapons and munitions instructor, and became a member of the department’s SWAT team.
Officer Osborn has proven himself to be one of the department’s most valuable employees and embodies the department’s core values of Courage, Honor, and Commitment.
