Detective Tiffany Lindsey

Plant City Police Department

Detective Lindsey came to the Plant City Police Department in January of 2006. Since coming to the Plant City Police Department, Detective Lindsey has served in the Patrol Division and has nine years experience as a Detective in the Criminal Investigation Unit. She has distinguished herself by receiving specialized training in a number of areas to include becoming a Field Training Officer, General Techniques Instructor, and due to her exceptional writing and communication skills has been tasked with teaching new recruits report writing. 

In her current assignment, she has been assigned to handle primarily sex offenses, crimes against children and elderly, missing children,  internet crimes against children (ICAC) cases, as well as monitor the activities of all sex offenders and predators residing within the jurisdiction of the Plant City Police Department.  

During the course the past year, Detective Lindsey has handled on excess of 120 investigations and works daily with representatives from the Department of Children and Family Services, the Children’s Advocacy Center, and the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office Child Protection Investigators to ensure that each victim, as well as their family receives all available services.  

 Detective Lindsey is engaged to her fiance, Paul Tester, and has one son, Barrett (18 years old).  In her spare time, she enjoys traveling as well as fishing and lobstering in the Florida Keys.
